Hey ritnecrowin, I have several Gifts Ungivens signed by D. Alexander Gregory from when I went to the San Diego Comic-Con.
If you like, we could just exchange one of my signed ones for your unsigned one. Smile. |
O man! That is SUPER generous, but unfortunetly, it's a foil German one I would like signed... my deck is completly uniform with German, foil and signed...
MANY thanks though
I use KMC sleeves; are these hardest better? |

These decks are so sick, I've played since Revised and am a huge collector and have enough cards to stock a store twice over but none of my decks are close to this. Sadly nobody plays Vintage or Legacy here in Kentucky, most of my cards are just here for me to stare at. _________________ ~~~~GXPKY~~~~ |

Not a problem. I actually also have a bunch of German foils too, (not Gifts Ungiven though...). I like German better than Japanese or Korean...I approve of your deck very much. lol
Will you be posting your deck on this forum? I'd be very interested in seeing it. |

Ant, those are so sparkly.
This thread makes my day, I love looking through here.
The old school stasis deck is still probably one of my favs though, gotta love the nostalgic stuff. Almost like looking through an old photo album full of family pics.
I miss the old days of Magic, kills me that noone around here where I live plays anything but standard. Gotta miss those days of praying to hit a Shivan Dragon in a booster. _________________ ~~~~GXPKY~~~~ |

| yes, he does. they usually are just very basic or "bad" alterations (like outlining shapes), so you got to be really lucky to get something good. |

I agree
For the plains on the right, i asked an animal walking in the desert with its footsteps in the sand. He drew a pokemon and his shoe prints... _________________ Sorry for my English |

| I personally like French better, but it's a matter of your taste in the end isn't it? |

Ditto.
I always like languages me and my opponents can understand better. If you can't read either, then even though Asian is usually cuter, I also like to try and read the name or flavor text of cards in foreign languages.
Behold, I will now cast a Lion de la jungle!
sounds better than
Behold, I'll cast a Jungle lion, that is in Chinese, and that uses a different alphabet which I can't even try to make fun of by saying it all wrong. |

I'm to start playing with only S.Chinese cards and a table of emotes.
I'd imagine I'd be using the frowny face the most.

I think it's much easier to squeeze humor out of a French accent than a Chinese accent without being offensive. Ergo, I'd go with French.
Personally, I used different languages based on what was (a) funniest, (b) most appropriate (I think German and Russian are the best for really brutal spells, but if you don't speak Russian you're SOL on those), or (c) cool for other reasons (could be any number of things). _________________ If you're going to PM me . . . It is hard to not want to speak like an extremely stereotypical angry chinese man if you are speaking with a fake Chinese accent lol
We always have a joke in our group that there should be a GPS voice setting like that.
"OH YOU TURN REFT, THREE MIRE!"
"CONGRATURATIONS YOU HERE, AND YOU ONLY GO WRONG WAY TEN TIME!!!"
But with those Lions, French wins. Chinese NEVER WINS, English is better than Chinese.
