World of Warcraft Continental Qualifier

Time:
Registration begins at 10 AM with the tournament starting promptly at 11 AM.

Registration closes ten minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Any player who wants to enroll after registration has closed will be able to do so, but will receive a round one match loss. Players arriving after round two has been paired will not be able to enroll in the tournament.

Entry Fee:
$30.00 - Credit cards are not accepted at the event site.

Tournament Format:
Sealed Pack: Players will receive two packs each of Drums of War, Blood of Gladiators, and Fields of Honor to construct a thirty-card deck.

Tournament Structure:
Straight Swiss with cut to a Top 8 Booster Draft.
(Top 4 if 16 or less players)
60 minute rounds are best two-of-three

Prizes:
• The top eight players receive an invitation to the National Championships.
• 1st Place: An Alexi Barov Extended Art (EA) card.

• Top Four: An Invocation EA and a Mage deck box.

• Top Eight: An exclusive 2009 Continental Qualifier playmat.
• Top Sixteen: A Black Temple treasure pack.

Players will also receive Fields of Honor booster packs according to the following distribution:

1st Place: 18 packs
2nd Place: 14 packs
3rd & 4th Place(s): 8 packs
5th through 8th Place(s): 4 packs

The first thirty-two players to sign up will receive a The Ring of Blood: Ska'grath EA. We will also give out four Mage deck boxes as door prizes!

Special Side Event - Booster Draft Challenge!
Registration/Tournament Begins:
As soon as eight players sign up a new Booster Draft Challenge will be started.

Entry Fee:
$15.00

Format:
Booster Draft. Pack distribution: one pack each of Drums of War, Blood of Gladiators, and Fields of Honor.

Tournament Structure:
Four or eight player single elimination using best of three matches.

Prizes:
• Top four finishers receive a Terokk's Shadowstaff EA card.

Booster Pack Prizes: (Fields of Honor)
• Four Players - 1st four packs, 2nd two packs
• Eight Players - 1st six packs, 2nd three packs, 3rd and 4th one pack each.
